The Commonwealth Games 2010 are scheduled to be held in New Delhi from 03 October 2010 to 14 October 2010.

The XIX Commonwealth Games 2010 Delhi will be including 17 sports this year which will take place in the finest of games venue in the national capital city. Several new venues are developed for hosting the games and the older ones are renovated to match up the international standards of professionalism and advanced measures of Sports world. Thus the sports that will be held at these stadiums will include: Archery, Aquatics, Athletics, Badminton, Cycling, Boxing, Elite Athletes with a Disability Events (EAD), Hockey, Lawn Bowls, Gymnastics, Rugby 7s, Netball, Table Tennis, Shooting, Squash, Tennis Wrestling and Weightlifting.

The country is producing twenty six new training venues for different sports for which the construction work has reached its final stages. Also sixteen of the old training venues are being upgraded with advance sports equipments to fulfil the requirements of international players. The sports will be held at six venue clusters and five of the alone venues in Delhi.

» The first cluster is the Jawaharlal Nehru Sports Complex where the opening and closing ceremonies, Athletics, Lawn Bowls and Weightlifting games will take place.
» The second cluster is the Indira Gandhi Sports Complex which will be hosting the sports of Cycling, Gymnastics and Wrestling.
» The third cluster of venues for Commonwealth Games is Yamuna Sports Complex. The games of Archery (qualifying rounds) and Table Tennis will be held at this venue.
» Fourth on the list of Commonwealth Games venue is Siri Fort Sports Complex which will witness the sports of Badminton and Squash.
» Hockey and Archery Finals will be held at (India Gate) the fifth complex, the MDC National Stadium Complex.
» The sixth complex for Commonwealth Games venue is Talkatora Garden Complex which will host the competitions of Swimming and Boxing.

The stadiums allotted for each of the competitions are:
» Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium - Opening and Closing ceremonies, Athletics, Lawn bowls, Weightlifting competitions
» Dhyan Chand National Stadium – Hockey matches
» Indira Gandhi Arena - Archery, Cycling, Gymnastics, Wrestling competitions
» Delhi University sports complex - Rugby 7s matches
» Tyagaraj Sports Complex – Netball matches » Siri Fort Sports Complex - Badminton, Squash matches
» Talkatora Stadium – Boxing matches
» SPM Swimming Pool Complex – Aquatics
» R K Khanna Tennis Complex – Tennis matches
» Yamuna Sports Complex - Table tennis matches
